I live just a few blocks west Of Jordan Creek Town Center in West Des Moines, IA. Just stepped out onto my deck which faces east and saw three solid red lights spaced equally apart from going across the sky from the south to the northeast. No idea of their altitude (but they were high up in the sky) they were evenly spaced apart traveling fairly slow and took two minutes before they were out of my sight. I didn't hear any noise coming from them. The mall a few blocks to the east had a fireworks display earlier on the evening but this event ended at 2220 hours. I'm confident that what I saw was not related to this event.
