I was on a windmill tower nice evening and looking around the country when suddenly 3 round lights appeared over a nearby lake
I was young and for entertainment I would climb a windmill tower and look around at distant sites like Humboldt. It wasn't long and suddenly three lights appeared East of me over a near bye lake. Suddenly they quickly like instantaneously they moved about four miles straight south of where I first noticed them. They were about the size of a full moon just coming over the horizon but it was a starry night no moon. I had no idea of what they were and I was not afraid. I could distinguish the distance from me that they were hovering it wasn't something close up. I could tell they were over the centre of the lake my depth perception was accurate. they then quickly moved back to the centre of the lake hovered for a bit and then just disappeared. the lights just went out. I never spoke of this to anyone for years until more and more sightings were witnessed then I told a few close friends. I've heard of similar shapes similar to what I witnessed since then.
