Circular features along side like small port holes. Object may have been circular.
Object appeared from my right hand side may have been descending on shallow curve. The object proceeded from left to right at about my level. Maybe slightly higher, I was on a hillside sloping down to a lake My age would have been maybe 5 years based on the fact that I was a considerable distance from my home and unsupervised. The year would have been about 1942 1.
I have no memory of sound. In approximately the same time frame and close to the end of the war a crippled German plane passed passed over our house at right angels to the path of the object and crashed on the sea shore. Nobody in my family had any memory of the UFO but we all were aware of the plane crash. This would have been an unusual occurrence as we lived in EIRE (Irish Free State), a neutral country. Never saw another one.
