Shining object at sunset, first thought it was a star, then noticed it moving
Walking to the shop for dinner I noticed a star towards the sunset ( sun had just gone down, but still plenty of light. It was strange since stars are not out at that time. I looked at it and noticed it wasn't distorted by the atmosphere like a star. It was above the clouds, but I got a good look at it and the object was either an oval or a cigar shape and obviously very large. It moved behind the clouds ( not a lot of cloudcover) and never reappeared. It seemed to be stationary when I first noticed it, but was probably moving away from me, towards the west. I was excited to have witnessed it, not having experienced something like it since I saw one in Cape Town a few years ago ( also reported to MUFON). I did not think about it for long, but had strange dreams about aliens in the night (obviously my psyche just f'n with me).
