appeared to be a solid white light moving at a steady pace. about the same speed as aircraft flying
While at general quarters near the gulf of Oman I saw a light that,at first, looked like a jet flying (but I noticed no blinking lights as all aircraft do) and not more than 30 seconds pass(it may have been 15 seconds at the least) and it abruptly reversed direction in an upward direction and disappeared like a check mark just as quickly as you can draw one on paper. While watching it though I became very unnerved and felt like it knew I saw and was watching it. Then it was gone. I was shocked with disbelief, but knew what I saw real. I held a security clearance with DOD so I said nothing to anyone til I left the service.
