Bright magenta/red light in the sky which was round and got very bright in the middle- seemed close then.....
My husband and I were driving on a road in northern Baltimore county when a bright magenta/red light (brightest in center- almost white) caught my eye. At first sight it seemed close then as we drive closer and it seemed like we were about to drive under it.... it looked like smaller lights were dropping from it. Then it got smaller and remained in sight (now almost gray in color) and also seeming much farther in the distance. We both were very perplexed by this. It stayed stationary too long to be a flare. We also don't understand how it seemed so close one instant...then so distant the next. We both never saw anything like this and have been searching for other sightings on-line since last night.
