Shiny cylinder with slow rotation that kept ascending until it disappeared
The object I observed yesterday on September 11, 2021 at around 3:30 - 3:45 PM was a somewhat shiny shape in an up/ down orientation. It appeared stationary and I could see it had a slow rotation to it because it had some kind of bump out / protrusion towards the top of its shape that would shine bright probably from the reflection of the sun. It was northeast in the sky from where I was observing it. It was hard to tell just how high it was at first and I was in total awe as to what I was looking at. I quickly went inside to grab binoculars and had my wife and daughter come out to take a look. I was afraid that it would be gone but sure enough we all spotted it... but it was smaller and no doubt higher up. Even with the binoculars it was hard to get a clear view of it. A few clouds at one point obstructed it so I knew then it had to be fairly high up by now. We watched it as it just kept getting smaller and disappeared from sight. We all agreed it had rotation to it and had no idea what it could have been. None of us have ever witness anything like this. I am reporting this in the hopes of learning that others may have seen it and took the time to report it as well.
