Straight line of 30-40 lights
Camping (backpacking) in Badlands National Park South Dakota.

About 30-40 lights in a straight line.

Camping 0.5 miles W of Conata Picnic Area
First noticed lights NNW and they moved to NNE in that direction until it moved toward the horizon and went behind the badlands.
Lights were in a completely straight line.
Wall is due north so it was in that direction.
No noise.
Lights were brighter than avg star.
In the sky the lights were about 8 inches long
There were spaces In between the lights in a random fashion but there were many exactly together but some had spaces
