My husband and I were walking on the rocks at Misty Cliffs South peninsula Cape town on Saturday 10 August between 10am and 12midday Sighting of an object first hovering over the horizon for about 30 minutes then the object flew in our direction at a rapid speed and then just hovered above us over the ocean for about another 30 minutes.i recorded it but nothing appears on my phone after a long while it flew into the direction of the sun and disappeared. When it flew over us it looked like a white cross then disappeared into the sun. I have sent emails to our South African aviation services and nobody has responded to me,..there were other people standing on the beach road who were also staring at this object in the sky over the sea while my husband and I sat on the rocks completely in awe of this strange object in the sky
