{tjd} Craft hovering then moved toward me... continued past until went into atmosphere (Report entered by AL ASD on behalf of witness) I LIVE AT AL. AND SOMETIME EARLY THIS MORNING BETWEEN 5-6A.M. A CIRCULAR, SILENT BRIGHTLY LIT CRAFT LOOKED AS IF IT WANTED TO LAND IN MY BACK YARD. THE OBJECT WAS SO CLOSE, THAT THE GRASS AND TREES WERE ILLUMINATED. THE CRAFT WHEN FIRST OBSERVED LOOKED AS IF IT WAS SUSPENDED IN MIDAIR. AS I TOOK NOTICE IT SLOWLY MOVED TOWARD ME. THE LIGHTS ON THE CRAFT WERE CIRCULAR AND PULSED A SOFT BUT BRIGHT WHITE LIGHT WITH OCCASIONAL GLIMPSES OF RED. THE LIGHTS LOOKED TO GO ALL THE WAY AROUND THE OBJECT. I WENT INSIDE TO TELL MY MOM AND BY MY WATCH WE WERE BACK OUTSIDE IN LESS THAN FORTY SECONDS. WHILE I WAS INSIDE THOUGH, I COULD SEE LIGHT ENGULF OUR MINI BLINDS. I ACTUALLY THOUGHT IT HAD LANDED. UPON RETURNING OUTSIDE IT LOOKED TO BE GONE, BUT WE REACQUIRED VISUAL AND IT SEEMED TO BE ON THE VERY SOUTH SIDE OF WETUMPKA. IT CONTINUALLY STAYED ON A SOUTHWEST PATH UNTIL IT LOOKED LIKE IT WENT INTO THE ATMOSPHERE. AGAIN NO SOUND WAS HEARD AS YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM A HELICOPTER OR AN AIRPLANE. I USED TO BE A POLICE OFFICER AND THIS THING WAS UNLIKE ANYTHING I'VE EVER LAID MY EYES ON. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.
